Meghalaya is a year-round tourist attraction, although the monsoon season is when it is most beautiful. During this time, the state sees the most rainfall. The two wettest cities in the world are said to be Cherrapunji and Mawsynram. We advise our visitors to stay away from Meghalaya from June to September, even though the state blossoms with brilliant colours and beauty during the monsoon. This is due to the state receiving a lot of rain during the monsoon, which will present difficulties on your route.
The temperature dips to 3 degrees at night and fluctuates between 12 and 15 degrees during the day during the winter, which begins in October and lasts until March. If you enjoy seeing fog in beautiful landscapes, you should travel to the state during the winter.
