HOW TO REACH MANALI?


Well, this is a big question and frequently circulated on the web. You can reach Manali by two ways.

OPTION 1: HOW TO REACH MANALI FROM DELHI?

Before booking any Manali Package Tour, you must be aware that Manali is very much well connected with a round of Bus Network from Delhi. The distance between Delhi to Manali is around 550 Kms and it takes almost 12 hrs to reach. To travel Manali it is highly recommended to book an AC Volvo Coaches, reason the distances are too long. A number of bus service provider including Govt. and Private Service provider offers frequent transportation from Delhi to Manali and they are Himachal Pradesh Tourism Development Corporation (HPTDC), Himachal Road Transport Corporation (HRTC), Himalayan Nomad KTC, Swagatam Holidays, City Land Travels, and Moon Light Travels etc.

The buses are indeed clean, well maintained, comfortable and punctual. Generally HRTC busses start from Kashmiri Gate and HPTDC Volvo bus starts from Mandi House. Most Private Volvo bus starts from RK Ashram. So passengers are needed to plan their schedule accordingly. Most of the Volvo bus departs Delhi in the evening and reach Manali at early in the morning, around 7 to 7.30 am. It takes generally takes 12 to 14 hrs depending on the weather, road condition and departs time.


OPTION 2: HOW TO REACH MANALI FROM CHANDIGARH

If you have a plan to Travel Manali from Delhi, we will ask you to drop it and travel up to Chandigarh - from there you can book local Taxi or online Cab for your onward journey to Manali Tour Package. The road distance between Chandigarh to Manali is only 250 kms (half of distance from Delhi) and it takes merely 7 to 8 hrs i.e. you can save almost 4 to 5 hrs of your journey time. This is best option if you are travelling with kids or elderly people.

Board on one of the above mentioned train according to your schedule and reach up to Chandigarh. From there take a local Cab / Taxi or Bus (City Land Travels, Harisons Travels, Heera Himachal Holidays, Jbg Travels, Kanak Holidays) and reach Manali.
